点评:Stopped in here for dinner with my wife after having read numerous reviews in the Seattle Times claiming this is the best fish & chips around. We ordered at the counter in this strangely arranged restaurant with long narrow hallway, little bar up front, and outdoor seating for nice weather. You need a map to find the restrooms or just ask the most gracious servers or bartender...nice folks with a sense of humor (after telling me how to find the restroom, our server said "Good luck!"). Outdoor tables were full, so we ate in the bar.
We got one order of fish & chips ($22), which was good because that was plenty for both my wife and I. The piece of fish that overlaps a plate full of wide cut fries was HUGE! I'm thinking it was half a whole small cod. The fish is batter coated with a really crispy and not terribly greasy batter. I prefer panko breading on my fish, but this was pretty good and very filling. One of the best additions was a smidgen of Minty, Mushy Peas that comes with the fish. I could have eaten a plateful of those things! We washed our dinner down with a couple of mugs of cold draft Mac & Jack Amber Ales ($9 each). Not sure it could have ever lived up to all the hype, but it was pretty darn good, though pricey for fish & chips.
