点评:We stopped in for an early dinner while heading home from vacation on a Friday.
Read some mixed reviews but I think that was early in the pandemic so we called and they were open. We were very glad they were!
Being mid afternoon Friday- they weren't busy but people did start filtering in. The wait staff was attentive, the seafood and meat were delicious and meat cooked to order!
We each had the Land & Sea which is one meat and one seafood entre. We both chose Tri Tip which is "Tender and flavorful cut at the end of the sirloin. Cooked medium-rare" and I was a little concerned as my husband is the kinda guy who says to just smack the cow on the a$$ as it runs past the grill and call it good! He was not disappointed! I'm more of medium-rare and I too was not disappointed. I added the Smoked Salmon and he added Local Oysters. All was perfect!
On the side- our fries and onion rings were also great. Menu says they use tallow for that perfect amount of crispiness. They weren't wrong.
Since we were driving I decided to have a "mocktail" margarita. Okay, I was unhappy with that choice, but I had never tried a mocktail. I think I'll stick with lemonade if alcohol cannot be on the menu.
Great place to eat, and if you want cook books, bakery items or other goodies to bring home- the store is attached and I could have brought it all home. Instead we brought home a couple of their Neandertal coffee mugs 😂
Oh yeah, every other Wednesday they have open mic night, if you're interested.
