Chippokes lots of things to do
Chippokes State Park的点评
点评：The good. The Mansion, Farm and Foresty, Heritage animal. CAMP SITES, cabins, visitor ctr, Friends of Chippokes, Surry, Ferry, Jamestown visitor ctr, and historic site. CUP cakes, Va meats for lunch, Hampton Rd Winery and Vinyard, Bacon Castle.
So many things to do if you leave the park. So much to do in the park. Camped in loop B, from Thursday to Monday. Loop B sites were level and paved. Loop A gravel and if you take a camper on that side make sure you have ample leveling blocks.
My one and only complaint is the showers. They were not the most pristine. One would say needs to improve. Shower curtain had mold, floor was dirty. Mens bathroom had a bad leaking toilet when flushed. All of which were tolerable not a deal killer. However, I shouldn't have to say tolerable. Little updating would be in order. DAILY cleaning during would be in order, it's a heavily used park.
