点评：We learned about the Surry Seafood Co. from the guide of a James River tour we took the previous day and it turned out to be the best meal of our stay in the Williamsburg area.
Getting there takes a little effort, but it's definitely worth the trip across the river on the Jamestown-Scotland ferry (especially if you go around sunset). If the weather's nice, ask for a table outside on the patio for a spectacular view of Gray's Creek and the dock area. There's also live music on Wednesdays.
As for the food, it's first-rate! Every bit as good as the view! The night we went, our party of four started out with the crab dip with pita chips, and there were plenty to go around for all of us. I'm not a big seafood fan, so I had the 12-ounce ribeye and it was cooked to perfection, juicy and lean with a baked potato and green beans as a side. My wife had the broiled crab cakes, which were meaty with only a minimum of filler, while our friends had the scallops and the stuffed flounder and were happy with their selections, too.
Although we didn't imbibe, there is a fully stocked bar if that's your thing or if you want to have a drink in the event you have to wait for a table (although we were able to be seated within 15-20 minutes of our arrival).
