点评：This was such a disappointing visit. We went to Capt E's recently for an early dinner with another couple. We had been there in the past and had really enjoyed it. The service is always good and the waitresses are friendly and helpful. This trip was very disappointing. We ordered the crab dip to share. It was just okay at best. It didn't have much crab meat in it, was runny and it tasted so much like mayonnaise. The two men in our party ordered the seafood platter. The price was $46 each and we expected that it would have a nice amount of seafood on it for that price. Not true!. The platter had one piece of fried flounder, one fried crab cake and two fried shrimp. The fish and shrimp tasted okay, but the crab cake had no flavor at all. We understand that costs have gone up and restaurants are having to charge more, but the $46 price was so far out of line for what we got. The guys would have been better off to order two dinners. Both I and the other woman got the shrimp dinners and they were okay, but nothing to brag about. The sides that they serve are very good. Maybe just opening for the season had something to do with our experience, but with a bill of well over $200 including tip for an early dinner, we just expected much better. We did eat inside on this visit. It appeared that they had a nice outside area to dine. At this point, we have no desire to go back to Capt E's anytime in the near future.
