点评：Living in the Flow provided a great overall introductory experience to scuba diving. Our guide took the time to explain the instructions and rules and brought us to the pool to learn the basic skills. Unfortunately, the reason I am only rating two stars is based on transparency. My sister in law and I did the beginning course with our significant others and started the pool diving, but ultimately did not feel comfortable going into the open water. It was nothing anyone did wrong, and our instructor was so understanding and kind and encouraged us to not do something we didn’t feel ready for as this is how injury can happen and we did not want to put anyone at risk. I was surprised, however, that herself and myself were charged nearly the full price for the experience even though we did not participate fully. The other two completed another 15-20 minutes of pool training and spent nearly 45 minutes in the ocean. I do not recall this being discussed with us prior to signing as well as prior to us leaving the pool, it was simply told to my fiancé at the time of payment after the experience was complete for all. I understand that this could have been two slots for other individuals to participate in, but I feel this is lack of honesty on the part of the company itself. Based on the instructor’s guidance, I would have rated this a 5 star experience based on my previous scuba diving experience as overall it appeared professional and the remaining group members had a good time. Please beware if you choose not to go, you will be charged close to price for the full time, if this helps your decision making for your own personal experience.
