点评:The bright spot in our weekend was the service provided by Maylia. She was professional, courteous and very helpful. She gets a 5 star rating but unfortunately the hotel does not. This hotel has a prime location in Norfolk and beautiful views of the waterfront. Unfortunately the M Lounge is not up to Marriott standard. The food offerings were limited and did not look fresh. The food didn’t get refreshed in a timely manner. The staff was friendly and if you asked for anything they provided it. The staff’s outward appearance was not professional however.
Your clothes should appear clean. I shouldn’t have to ask for silverware. Silverware and plates, bowls should be replenished continuously.
The room is a good size but it could use an update, the rugs were frayed and smelled. We were there for a formal event and the food was not the best. My meal was supposed to be filet mignon but it wasn’t. The mystery meat was hard as a rock. Overall the Marriott has great potential but it lacks leadership and oversight
