Crab Shack Seafood Restaurant on the James的点评
点评：Pleasant location and nice view of the James River. I ordered the shrimp and oyster platter with baked potato, salad, hushpuppies and she crab soup. The platter left much to be desired because the 5 shrimp were overcooked and very tough. The 6 fried oysters were too salty to the point that I couldn't eat them. The hushpuppies were ok, had a nice sweet taste. The tartar sauce was too salty to eat also. The nice size baked potato was ok with plenty of butter and sour cream. The bowl of she crab soup was tasty even though it was not the usual chowder style and taste. Unfortunately it only had a few very small pieces of crab in it that you actually had to search for. The small salad was mostly lettuce, with 3 slices of cucumber, ONE small triangle piece of sliced tomato and 3 red onion rings. My waitress was very nice, attentive and offered to get me something else to eat when she noticed that I left all the oysters, wasn't eating my food and pointed out all the saltiness of the items. I didn't want to try anything else and decided to just get the $36 check and leave.
