点评:I will be honest and say that Shakers is normally good, very good. We don't get there often as it is a splurge for us. We went last Friday around 4:30, and it was just "off". We were first seated in the booth closest to the bar. The acoustics were really good, but it made it difficult to talk as the voices from the bar were loud. We were then seated next to the kitchen. I guess clanking dishes is better than booming voices. The waitress was very nice in letting me sub the Cajun cream sauce to the Chesapeake Sauce for my steak. It was the food that was the issue. It came out lukewarm. Lukewarm creamed spinach is not really good. The butter did finally melt in the tiny baked tater, but only cause the butter was room temp. Hubby's steak came out fairly warm. His broccoli was almost cold. The Chesapeake sauce for my steak, instead of being a garlic based sauce with shrimp and crabmeat was a white blob concealing the original sauce that had been not too cleanly scrapped off. I had eaten almost half of it when I came upon the original sauce. We never saw our waitress again until she presented the bill. When I told her about the sauce, she smiled like she knew and just asked if was it good. That was weird. I should have told the mgr, but the truth is a good manager that cares already knows what is going on in the kitchen. This meal was a fail.
