罗诺克霍林斯希尔顿Tru酒店的点评
点评：After a long day of driving, I arrived at this location in the later evening. The front desk clerk was on his phone and didn't realize I was there until I said, "Excuse me. I'd like to check in." Although the process continued quickly, he asked if I would like my water and snack bag (for being an Honors member). When I said "yes", he said that now I'd have to wait because he had to go in the back to find some water. For someone working in the hospitality industry, this welcome to the hotel was not very hospitable.
My room was comfortable and clean.
The breakfast buffet the next morning was not well stocked or cleaned. I was there before 8am, and it was busy, but no staff member was around. (The front desk clerk was busy with people checking out.) The lobby area where guests eat was also not cleaned. There was a large spill on the floor around a section of tables (not cleaned during my entire time eating), and some food spills around the tables.
Although I enjoy the Tru hotels, I would definitely not stay at this location again. I would drive a little further to the one in Wytheville.
