This place is filthy and has bed bugs. I was in my room a total of 20 minutes.
When I pulled the covers back I observed an eyelash on the pillow. No big deal it happens. When I picked up the pillow there was a small insect under it. It was moving. I got my phone and took a few pictures then entered them into Google. What returned was that the picture was of an immature bed bug. I looked around a little more and noticed the sheets were dingy colored and there was mascara stains on the pillows. I checked the other bed and saw another bug. It went over the end of the bed before I could get pictures. The bed was in the same shape as the other one. Dirty. I'd had enough. I grabbed all my stuff and put it back in my vehicle.
I went to the front desk and spoke with the clerk, who told me she was also the manager. I quietly explained to her what I had found. There were other guests in the lobby and I did not want to cause alarm. I showed her the pictures
She offered me another room in the hotel. I told her that if 1 room had bugs, then it was a pretty good chance they all did, so I declined another room. I asked for a refund as it was not my fault for there being bugs in the room. She declined my request as I had booked to room through priceline and there was a no refund clause in the booking. She stated that priceline still had the money for the room and I should call them.
That's for another feedback. This 'manager" lied to me multiple times. Priceline had already released the money as soon as I checked in. When I asked if I could call the general manager the next day, I was told that he was out of the country for the next month. When I asked for his office number, she told me that he did not have an office at the hotel. As I turned away, I observed a business card on the desk. I picked it up and low and behold, the GMs name, office number, cell number. Hmmm
So I left without a room or a refund. I sat in my truck for 3 hours, on the night before thanksgiving, trying to find a hotel, truck stop, rest area, or anywhere I could rest. I did in the end find a corner in a truck stop, where I could park and rest at 3am.
So to conclude my feedback, do not stay at the Days Inn Roanoke. It is a nasty dirty place. The rooms have cobwebs, the sheets and pillow cases are not changed. And they have a problem with bedbugs. The 'manager' would not go to the room to look and verify.
If I could give this hotel negative numbers for cleanliness and customer service I would definitely give them a minus 5. AGAIN DO NOT STAY HERE.

The owner responded to this review. If you read any of his reviews it's basically the same thing. We take this seriously and we strive to make our guests top priority. Really? Why did I not get a refund. You told me to go through the booking agency, priceline. They called you multiple times and each time they asked for a refund from you, since you had already been paid, you said no. Every time. I was on the line with the agent at priceline listening in and when she asked you to send a refund, you again said no.
Your hotel is filthy. I was just notified that over 100 people have looked at the pictures and way more than that have seen the review on this platform as well as 2 others. That's well over 100 people that will not stay at your hotel. I also noticed you went from a 3 star to a 2 star hotel. That's good. I gave you every opportunity to reach out to me and discuss this, but the price of my hotel room over rode your common sense. Hopefully more people will see my review as well as others I have read about bugs and unsanitary conditions and your hotel will drop to a 1 star.
