Tony's New York Pizza的点评
点评：I’ve e been eating here for nearly 20 years. It’s good but not great. Steak n cheese subs, good but not great. Same for the pizza and today I again was reminded they really should re-visit their recipes.
The pizza slice both my friend and I ordered looked great behind the glass; Pepperoni and Bacon—how can you go wrong!? The crust was a puffy version—not their normal thin crust. A Sicilian crust I’d say.
The kicker was, it was tasteless! Friend agreed and we like Pizza a LOT. The dough had no “yeasty” flavor whatsoever. The texture was fine but that’s it. It came with a small cup of tomato sauce for dipping which is a nice touch but even this just didn’t get it. I’ve heard the different Tony’s restaurants around all have different recipes so I need to try the two Manassas locations again for comparison. Nice people and very convenient but I just wish I could enjoy their food more.
