Villa Appalaccia Winery的点评
点评：We visited this winery last July. As we were walking into the winery, we were stopped my a man with a clipboard and asked if we would like to do a tasting. We said that we would, and were then asked if we were “fully vaccinated”. One of us was not. This put us in a very uncomfortable position. Do we lie and enjoy the tasting or buy a bottle and be exiled to the outdoors? This is the only time I have ever been asked by a business about my medical history and the level of goods or services received contingent upon the response.
We decided to make the best of the situation and purchased a bottle of wine. It was good and the grounds were pleasant. However, being exiled to the tables on the perimeter of the outdoor area was not at all a good feeling, nor one that I will ever forget. Knowing this policy in advance would have been appreciated and saved us from embarrassment. No other business in Floyd county asked about vaccination status. We didn’t enter the county with the virus, nor did we contract it while there.
