点评：So I should probably preface this review with the fact that our local zoo is the St Louis zoo – which is free and always one of the top zoos in the nation. We love visiting other zoos though to check them out. The layout of the zoo is nice – plenty of room to walk and lots of shade. I’ve never seen a zoo with so little refreshments or food stands though – it was a hot day when we were there and it was quite a ways before we found a place to buy a drink. In our opinion several of the enclosures were extremely small for the animals and by the amount of pacing of the animals you could tell a lot of them were anxious in their spaces. My kids noticed that several of the animals seemed thin – this could be the time of year with losing their winter coats, etc but it was noticeable. An extremely crazy amount of vultures in the park – which is explained. All in all it made for a couple hour stop during our day but I can’t say I would necessarily recommend it.
