点评：Four of us ate dinner here last night. There was almost nobody in the place so we were greeted immediately and seated promptly. Soon, our server was there with menus and ready for drink orders. She brought the drinks promptly and took our food orders.
I did not time it, but it had to be at least 45 min before our food came out of the kitchen. We all four had the same steak/shrimp deal. Our steaks were cooked as ordered, but were almost tasteless and were floating in grease. The sautéed mushrooms and onions were way over cooked. But, the portion sizes were good. Our shrimp was of a decent size and was cooked well and was tasty.
Had nothing to do with us, but a server spilled a glass of water on an empty table near us. It took three employees at different times to clean up that spill. They started with paper napkins, then a couple of rags and finally a mop. What should have been a five minute effort took over 20 minutes! And, even then, the table top was still soaking wet.
Our server was Audrey and she did a superb job for us. It was not her fault that the kitchen did not know what they were doing. She handled everything with finesse and professionalism.
All in all, I will not be returning. There is no excuse for such a mismanaged operation to exist. Somebody at Applebees headquarters also is not paying attention.
