点评:Well, it looked like a fun place walking in. The menu app site needs a lot of work. The floor of the restroom was sticky like an old movie theater floor, except it wasn’t soft drinks making it so. Not exactly a slammed kitchen. They served me fries instead of sweet potato fries and the fries were an inch long…you know the bottom of the basket. The waitress said they just give you whatever they have. Make more! It’s 4pm, not closing time. She did bring me piping hot sweet potato fries which the rest of the table ate because theirs were served cold. The lettuce was wilted and slimy. The tomato, meh. The bacon was alright. The waitress was polite and apologetic, but disappeared for long periods until the complaints started coming in. We asked to speak to the manager, but she said they were going through a change in management and there was just the bartender on duty. She refused to give the owner’s name, but why? It’s public record. The music guy….he tried hard, and was too loud, so we sat outside. The chicken wings were terrible. Just fried chicken with a lot of breading or whatever they coated them with and tossed in a sauce. Overpriced salad. No parting comments from staff. I rarely leave food behind, but only drank part of the beer and ate a quarter of the burger and a few fries. It was so lousy I didn’t take the rest to go. How is the rest of the food, namely the meat, getting handled there if this is what they serve? Here’s a few tips, don’t tell customers we gave you whatever we had, make more of whatever if you’re charging them for it. For an $80+ meal for four, you’d better be getting full sized fries, not the crispy leftovers at the bottom of the basket. Don’t blame problems on the place going through a management change. Do get a new cook, a new bartender, a new dishwashing staff, new drink ware and a custodian. Do clean the restrooms well and regularly. Do wash your hands afterwards if you happen to be a server and have to clean the restroom. Don’t let your bar staff play cards on the bar while working. Don’t own a restaurant if you don’t know how to run one. Tips for customers: Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else, though no better options nearby. A drive out of San Marcos will yield better food.
