点评：Rain Cafe is an only slightly out of the way quaint Cafe that embraces creating a light & warm atmosphere with a focus on moderately priced breakfast & lunch fare that locals appreciate. The service is prompt and authentically congenial.
Their chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak are made to order from fresh beef and poultry that are never frozen according to Josie my waitress; I'll have to try next time I stop in.
Rain Cafe also has a unique and quite popular French Toast that has a nice blend of ingredients that create a light and crunchy outer crust with an inner hint of vanilla. Definitely worth the try if your in the mood for something a bit' different.
Although they lack the normal breakfast staples of bagels and smear or muffins, if you are in the area of Texas Tech University (approximately 3 miles away 5-10 minutes) or in season join a local tailgating party Texas style, stop and enjoy Lubbocks little gem, you may even make some new friends or meet some old ones.
