点评：My wife and daughter had an extremely concerning experience when staying at the Holiday Inn Express - Lubbock South location. Upon arriving around 4PM, my wife found several suspicious looking men loitering and smoking near the entrance. Later that evening around 10PM when she returned, the same group of about 8 men were still hanging around outside and began snooping around her parked car. My wife informed the front desk clerk Savannah about the situation and asked her to address it, but Savannah was dismissive and reluctant to help. She made excuses that the men had rooms there and were local workers. My wife asked Savannah to come outside and see for herself, but she continued to downplay the situation even as a group congregated behind the car. Understandably upset and concerned for her safety due to potential car break-in attempts, my wife asked to switch hotels but was told that wasn't possible. She then waited at the front desk while my daughter captured photos of the men. As soon as my wife approached her car to leave, the men scattered. Throughout the ordeal, the front desk staff did little to make my family feel safe or comfortable with the situation unfolding right outside their room. The experience was concerning enough that my wife decided to pack up and leave rather than spend the night there. Despite the poor experience, they still charged for the room. The dismissive attitude and lack of concern for guest safety demonstrated by the staff at this Holiday Inn Express was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. No one should have to feel unsafe or worry about potential criminal activity during their hotel stay.
