点评：Looking for a new restaurant to try, suitable for a large group, isn’t always easy, especially if you want to be able to hear people talk. Finding a place that has space to accommodate a group of twelve or fourteen people can be a challenge, too, but a restaurant that fulfilled my needs, with good food and drink, is Warehouse 72.
At Warehouse 72, you get an atmosphere that is made for both eating/drinking and entertainment. They often have live bands here, so be sure to schedule your event for a day when there is no live entertainment, if your goal is to be able to hear each other talk. This is what I did, and the noise level was just right. There were very few people present and the long tables were easily able to accommodate my group of fourteen individuals.
Adequate space matters for a group, but it isn’t all that matters. You also want delicious food and drink and Warehouse 72 delivers in these areas as well. The prices are a little high, but they offer food options in the low to mid price range, too, so you should be able to find something that fits within your budget. If you want to keep the tab toward the low end, I recommend getting one of the flatbread pizzas. I like the chicken pesto pizza best, but the others are delicious, too. If price doesn’t matter, than you can’t go wrong with the herb roasted salmon, ribeye steak, Australian lamb chops, or other entrée.
With drinks, you can select from the many different cocktails from the full service bar, a glass of craft beer, or wine. The wine list is more extensive than I expected, and you should have no problem finding a wine to match your food or mood. It would be nice if they offered more beers on tap, but the choices are still not bad and the tasty food dishes will have you more focused on the food than the drinks regardless.
Overall, Warehouse 72 is a restaurant worth visiting for those who love seafood, Mediterranean style food, and plenty of beverage options. I like what I have had when I have visited here, and I appreciate that there was sufficient space to handle my group and a low enough noise level that we could all hear each other talk. It’s a good place to dine and drink in the Houston area, not far from the Galleria.
