Angelos Barbecue的点评
点评：While Angelo’s is a very historic barbecue joint, that also means that it is relying on It’s prior accomplishments rather than what it’s doing today.
I have been eating here since the early 80s, and it’s getting to the point where I’m considering not eating here again. It’s never been one of my favorite places, as I am not a big fan of a yellow mustard based barbecue sauce, but they do have amazing cold beer served in frozen fishbowl mugs.
My wife and I decided to have lunch at Angelo’s today and we both have the stuffed baked potato choice of meat with chopped barbecue. $13.50 per plate.
What shocked me was that they charged $.75 for about a tablespoon of grated cheese. Seriously? $13.50 for a baked potato and a charge for that little bit of grated cheese just seemed petty.
All told with drink and tip it was pushing $40 for two people for average barbecue
So unless you want the nostalgia of eating at Angelo’s, there are much better places to eat barbecue in Fort Worth.
