点评：We had the pleasure of dining at Teddy Wong’s in Fort Worth recently, and it did not disappoint. From start to finish, the experience was easy, welcoming, and—most importantly—delicious.
First off, a quick shoutout to Lady T, who answered the phone when I called. She was incredibly pleasant and somehow managed to get us a reservation, even with short notice. That kind of genuine hospitality set the tone for the night.
Our server, Easton, was fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and on top of everything without hovering. Just the kind of service that makes a meal even better.
Now, onto the food—because wow.
We started with the Hot Oil Dumplings, which had the perfect amount of heat and flavor. Soft and savory, with that chili oil kick that wakes up your taste buds in the best way. The Wagyu Beef Potstickers were next, and they were rich, tender, and crispy in all the right places. You could really taste the quality.
For our mains, we had the Orange Chicken and Mongolian Beef. The orange chicken was lightly crisped, not overly sweet, and felt a step up from your typical takeout version. The Mongolian beef was flavorful, tender, and well-portioned—definitely a table favorite.
And then came dessert. We tried the S’mores Ice Cream (fun and nostalgic), but the real star was the Vanilla Lavender Ice Cream. I’d honestly go back just for that. It was smooth, subtle, and absolutely dreamy. One of the best ice creams I’ve ever had.
All in all, Teddy Wong’s was a hit. The food was fantastic, the staff was kind and attentive, and the vibe was relaxed but stylish. We’ll definitely be back!
