Incorrect billing, unexpected, non-authorized charges, remain uncorrected.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Denton Convention Center的点评
点评：We traveled to Denton, staying at the Embassy Suites Hotel. We would have given 5-star ratings (for room, cleanliness, service, free breakfast, and wait staff) except for Embassy's billing errors and charges, which continue to appear on our credit card.
Until they have corrected the errors, our rating will remain low.
Reasons why?
1. Unsecure wifi is free; you'll be charged fees for Secure Wi-Fi.
2. We made reservations for pets, and just a few days later call the hotel directly to cancel our pet reservation and told the receptionist we weren't bringing pets. She said she made notations that no pets were coming and confirmed no pet fees would be charged. However, Embassy charged us pet fees on our final check-out emailed bill. (We recommend travelers never make a reservation with a pet. If you bring one, let the hotel add the cost to your bill at check-in rather than fighting with them to take the charge off. Or cancel the entire reservation and make a new reservation without pets).
3. Surprise charges: Embassy charges about $31-+ per day for "incidental" fees. They said it was to cover any room service ordered, secure wifi, or movie rentals in case any were ordered. (They 'pre-charge' this even though nothing is ordered). Embassy originally charged us (2-night stay) 3 charges of $31, $31 and $29.18. They removed two of the charges, but are still charging $31, even though we never ordered any incidentals. They have not removed the remaining incorrect charge.
4/Embassy not only charged us incorrect incidental and pet fees but also charged multiple incorrect room rates.
5/We are still waiting for them to refund the high (incorrect) room charge they made to our card, charge the correct fee (which they and we both agree should have been charged), and have not credited the last 'incidential' fee charges.
Been 10 days now trying to resolve the incorrect billing. Hopefully, that will be done soon and we can revise our review.
