点评:We’ve been dining at Giovanni’s for special occasions for many years now. Our collective experiences have always been nothing short of fabulous. Today however, two things spoiled the event.
The first was the noise level. Apparently, according to our waiter, there was a party of 70 people in the rear of the restaurant. But that didn’t stop them from creating such a wall of noise, that literally made communication almost impossible. The next time we see the parking lot completely filled, we’ll know to go elsewhere.
The second was the Stromboli, served undercooked, swimming in liquid, and stuffed with congealed, gummy mozzarella. I would recommend either reacquainting the chef with the subtle points of the dish, or simply taking it off the menu.
But I know every great establishment is entitled to an off-day, so we’ll return during the winter holidays. And KUDOS to the coffee, it really was superb!
