A Fabulous Sahara Desert Experience

点评：Our family spent four fabulous days exploring the Sahara desert in late February 2024, riding camels, enjoying delicious prepared meals (with no stomach complications), and enjoying the many experiences provided by the Bordj Taghit Hotel. I was with my daughter, her husband, and 3-year and 9-month granddaughters and their family friend and her three children.
Travel as a tourist in Algeria is not easy, especially as a non-French or Arabic speaker. Plus, the country lacks the tourism infrastructure of other countries, such as Morocco. Having said that, the staff at Taghit Bordj Hotel was exceptional in arranging transportation from the Bashar airport; creating experiences that were memorable, fun, and educational; preparing all of our meals; and being great, warm hosts in an inclusive package at a very reasonable price. Unlike the other major hotel in Taghit, it felt intimate and authentic and we were able to get to know the staff and other travelers.
My daughter, who lives in Algeria and is familiar with the other Sahara desert travel locations, is convinced that Taghit is the best location to experience the sand dunes, vistas, and oasis that characterize the Sahara, and that the Bordj Taghit Hotel provides the best all-inclusive way to do so.
