点评:This park is located prominently on a main road, they have also put a couple of carparks into the area to make it easy to pull over. Toilets are located at the site which would make it the obvious stop in town for people passing through.
The park is quite thoughtful.... there is a playground at one end of it, several picnic tables ( some sheltered and some unsheltered), a rotunda, a water fountain, bins, an undercover BBQ area, a naughty tractor ( clearly it's naughty! It's been put into a pen :) ) AND there is a lone pine here.
Just a wee bit about the lone pine,it was planted Lt-Col R.G.Wells and he was assisted with the planting by RSL member Doug Perry. It was planted on the 11-11-2001. The lone pine is fenced and there is a wooden sign in front of it saying, "Lest we forget 11-11-2001".
