点评:I really wanted to like Jersey Oven given that we sorely needed a bagel shop in Mt Juliet and we have been following them since day one (we're from the Northeast and have been missing good bagels). We tried their bagels as soon as they opened and I have to say that the pumpernickel rye has been solid from day one. The everything bagel is too damn salty though and not one we enjoyed, but the garlic bagel was decent. We made the mistake of trying their bagel cream cheese (I know, why not just stick with the classics) and it was loaded with soggy strips of bacon fat, which is extremely off putting). We also tried their pizza (again in the hopes that a bit of the Northeast would pop up in Mt Juliet) and it was one of the worst slices of pizza we've ever had.
I'm pleased to see that they've gotten rid of both the bacon cream cheese and the pizza, so hopefully that was all just part of growing pains. We may give them another chance given how close it is to home and hopefully they've made some improvements overall.
