Kirks on the Esplanade的点评
点评：Drove an hour around the Bay to Kirks. Entered via a convenient carpark at the back. The building was bright and modern, overlooking the sea. My friends ordered the seafood for 2 at $170. I ordered the seafood plate for one. When mine was delivered by the waitress I could not believe what I was seeing. It was on a huge plate and looked magnificent. It was beautifully plated and stacked with quality seafood. I ate fish, calamari, smoked salmon, prawns, scallops and chips. The salad was more that the usual pile of rocket leaves with onion, tomatoes, sliced olives and feta cubes. There were 2 pots of sauce for dipping. My friend had a senior's pork roast and all the vegetables had been actually roasted - potatoes and pumpkin plus broccoli and cauliflower. We were surprised by the high quality of the food. The catering manager is to be congratulated. We dine in many hotels around Brighton and nothing even comes close. There were no shortcuts here at Kirks. It looks like we will have to drive a distance now for a superior quality menu.
