点评：Booked for Sunday lunch with a group of friends and was sadly very disappointed. Have hesitated to write this review as i normally like to review great experiences, but this fell short. Of the 8 friends, i was the only one to order the beef, everyone else went for the lamb. After around 25 minutes of ordering our food, little pots of vegetables and potatoes arrived. i appreciate this restaurant is known for its small tasty dishes, but when catering for larger groups, more is needed! nothing out of the ordinary...chargrilled longstem broccoli, carrots, cauliflower cheese, croquette potatoes and extremely hard Yorkshire puddings. The meat then followed and all my friends tucked in to their lamb. My beef didn't arrive. I advised our Host of this, and he notified Chef. After another 10 minutes, my beef arrived, with the Chef telling me that one of friends must have eaten my original beef and that he had had to take this one off someone else's order! awkward! our Host then came to me and asked if 'i had a problem' with my dish after a comment my friend made to him. Not really the way to approach someone, knowing their order had been messed up. The issue i had was the beef was not what i expected, it was also very fatty, and had a small piece of bone stuck in it, so yes, i did have a problem with that. My dish appeared on the bill in full. Rather than endure any more problematic questions ,we paid it but sadly would not return . Not good value for money.
