Brooklyn Bridge Italian Restaurant的点评
点评：I went to Brooklyn Bridge many, many years ago. I don't remember my experience then or what I had. I'm thinking it must not have been too amazing or I would have returned sooner.
Recently, I went with a large group of friends (maybe 18 folks). We had reservations and they knew we were coming. We were seated promptly. IMO, during the meal, our service was bad. I realize that large groups can be harder to handle, but this place has been open for many years and should have an understanding of what's required. Service was slow, we weren't asked if we wanted more beverages, a few people ordered garlic bread, so they never served regular bread to everyone else, we weren't asked if we wanted dessert before checks were handed out, my check had someone else's beverage on it, etc. They automatically charge a 20% tip on large groups, but we certainly didn't get the service I'd expect for a 20% tip.
As for the food, I thought it was just okay. I had a small side salad, pasta with no meat, only water to drink and the bill was over $30, including the automatic tip.
Its definitely not somewhere I'd be going again on my own.
