点评：We visited for a quick lunchtime refill, and we were very impressed.
Right on one of the main NC500 routes, but out of sight, the restaurant is very easy to get to and is bright and clean inside, with a nice atmosphere.
We arrived shortly before 12 noon and tended to very quickly. Our server explained the menu options and the changeover from the breakfast and allowed us to order off the lunch menu for it to be delivered when the menu kicked in, and our food was delivered bang on the 12 noon changeover.
The food and drinks were very reasonably priced and very much worth the money. The panini & sandwiches we ordered along with our chunky chips were very well presented and very tasty. The chunky chips in particular were a real highlight. They were also delivered very quickly.
All of the colleagues were very friendly, polite and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. They were quick to clean away used tables and did not stop in their work,
This is a real hidden gem of a place to stop off and refuel yourself on your own journey, so be sure to look out for the roadside signs as you approach the roundabout just after / before Tain, you will not be disappointed.
