Deep Sea World的点评
点评：I took my 13 year old son to visit Deep Sea World today (15/10/24) It has been about 10 years since my last visit and it was awful so I had pre-warned him about how rubbish it might be. However! We were pleasantly surprised. The guy at the front desk was dressed as a pirate. He was really chatty and friendly. The tanks all looked clean enough, there was loads of information about each fish and plenty of space. The water tunnel looked like it could do with a bit of a scrub, and the moving walkway wasn't working, but it was still pretty cool to see the sharks and rays swim past.
The seals were the stars of today. We watched them getting fed, and it was really good fun. The pirate from the front desk was doing the commentary, he seemed to know his stuff.
We didn't pay full price for our tickets, I found an offer on social media 'quid a kid,' meaning it was less than £20 for us to visit today. I would say that was a fair price. We spent just over an hour and a half. We probably could have spent another half hour wandering around, but we had other plans.
It isn't as good as it was 30+ years ago, obviously, but it's still worth a visit if you're nearby and can find discounted tickets - even if it's just to see the seals.
