First Class Unique Experience needing a Little Adjustment

点评：So … I’ve thought long and hard about writing this review - and I keep coming back to the fact that I did leave with some ‘niggles’ ( which we did discuss with the Team — so only posting what was discussed).
But first the overwhelming positives to our recent stay celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary.
It is truly a unique place - the moment you leave your car you relax. The staff are warm and friendly. The accommodation was first class. The evening meal was one of the best we’ve ever had anywhere - honest home cooked food, delicious and special. The ‘text for a tipple service’ unique and perfect.
But … breakfast …. The cost of our two day package included breakfast - lovely. What it failed to state was that it is a breakfast allowance of £18. Which means you have to pick and mix from a menu which does not allow for having extra toast ( you can pay for that as extra) - juice and coffee ( you have to choose one or the other) - more than one cup of tea ( teabag in a cup) - we were charged for a second cup of tea.
All this has left me feeling slightly disappointed- we paid over £900 for a 2 night package - come on folks surely we can have another slice of toast or another cup of tea without extra charge?
I’m not usually one for complaining but as I mentioned at the beginning this has been bugging me, and I feel I have to be honest.
