点评：The entrance to this pub is difficult to find on a bend between the buldings. We were taken into the back of this pub where three pomeranium dogs rule and yap. We did not have to deal with them again though. Going through the dark, empty pub was not encouraging. Our spotless room was upstairs in this ancient building, recently painted. The layout was odd, with a sink in the bedroom and loo and shower in the ensuite. The shower was up a tall step and the sealant had been removed. There was a notice to keep the shower curtain inside, so I guess there had been problems. The old windows were single glazed so the bus stop outside and the event of bin day plus traffic made it noisy in the morning, but we did sleep well. We had everything we needed and ate in the bar that evening. It did come to life a little with a few locals and the food was good but we heard the pub is for sale, which seems a shame.
