点评:I am member of a group that meets in Sumter two times per year. Since it’s opening we have always stayed at Springhill Suites and have always been extremely satisfied. Unfortunately this visit was very disappointing. Let’s start with the cleanliness of the room. The shower curtain had mold. The bathroom floors were hazardous as it appeared that housekeeping sprayed the floors but did not dry mop them. I had to get an extra towel from the front desk and basically finish the cleaning job. Speaking of towels there were few extras to be had. And with their new “cleaning policies”, requests for housekeeping could only be fulfilled the next day. Good things: the young woman at the front desk was very pleasant and the breakfast was good. I realize all businesses are challenged with staffing and worker shortages. Unfortunately great properties like the Sumter Springhill Suites has not fully recovered in this post-pandemic landscape.
