Nice Hotel Being Remodeled
舒适酒店及套房斯帕坦堡北的点评
点评：We were visiting family in the area and stayed here four nights. The location is a little awkward, there is no signage on the main road, and the building is somewhat hidden but once you know where it is, it's not difficult to get there.
The check-in process was a little slow, but then I found out the desk clerk, who was very nice, was brand new, so the slowness was understandable. When we got to the 2nd floor where our room was, the hall carpet was covered with paint and plaster, really a mess. But when we got to our room, it had been recently remodeled and was very nice. The floors and wall coverings were brand new, I suspect the bed may have been new also, it was very comfortable.
We had stayed at this hotel before so this time I had requested (and was given) rooms on the front side of the hotel away from the Interstate, which were nice and quiet. The room was very clean except for a little construction dust in the bathroom. The next morning, my wife requested that they clean the bathroom again, which was done. Everything worked as expected and we had basic room service every day except Friday. (Made bed, dumped trash, fresh towels, replenished supplies)
Friday they replaced the hall carpet while we were out so that may have been the reason that housekeeping did not service the room.
Everyone we met on staff was friendly and did their jobs well. The hot breakfast was the typical scrambled eggs and sausage patties and make your own waffle. It was a bit more minimal than some in that the only fresh fruit offered was apples and there were no biscuits. Still it was attended by a staff member so kept well stocked and cleaned up.
When I booked this hotel on the Choice Hotels App, they were offering a special price for a four night stay, which was what we had planned anyway, so felt like I got a very good deal.
