点评:Rarely do I post a negative review, but this one deserves it. We have stayed in Santee the past 4-5 summers when traveling and always get take out from the Cracker Barrel. I come to understand that consistently, it is 10-15 mins past the time it states it will be ready, but I'm okay with that. Ordered on the app at 6:46 pm. Stated it would be ready at 7:09. Headed to the restaurant and got there at 7:15 and not ready. No biggie. At 7:25 I asked if they could check and was told they were bagging it. 7:35, no food. Asked again and said they were backed up. I was the only take-out customer waiting. Finally at 7:45 going to ask for a refund and head to McDonald's and it came out. 59 minutes after ordered and 36 mins after app said it would be ready. Took it to car where wife had been waiting, took a look and short one side. Went back in and 5 mins later got my handful of fried okra. Got to the hotel, 3 mins away and food tasted as if it had sat in the back for 30+ mins. Baked potatoes were dry and chicken sandwich cold. Most of the meal went in the trash. Never had an issue with the food before and again, my guess is it was sitting back there or just improperly fixed. The system needs to be updated so if you are busy, say it will be 40-45 mins. I can wait in my hotel. Texas Longhorn, Buff W Wings and most others have the ability to adjust so you have an accurate time table of when the food will be ready. The food itself, maybe the cooks had a bad day. But the lack of urgency at the front is a reflection on poor mgt and that probably was the most disappointing. Hope they get it together.....but won't be for us. I've learned my lesson.....
