点评：After failing to find the falls about 6 years ago we were back in the area ands tried again. From U.S. 76 travel southeast on Brasstown Road (posted on street sign and also a sign for Brasstown Creek Gathering Place BBQ). Follow this road approximately 4 miles until you approach a one lane bridge. Upon approach, turn right onto the dirt road and follow until it ends at the parking area. Walking the trail you'll soon come to a split: left goes the short distance to the Upper Brasstown Falls and right a bit further distance to the Middle Brasstown Falls (aka Cascades). We started out for the Lower Falls but soon turned around as we could see that would be longer than we wanted to continue considering the day's humidity! We were there less than one hour but more time will be required to reach the lower falls.
There is no fee and there are NO FACILITIES in the area, and very probably no cellular reception. In return you get treated by nature's beauty!
NOTE: These falls are on Brasstown Creek, not Long Creek. Long Creek runs under U.S. 76 and flows to Long Creek Falls and the Chattooga River (GA/SC line) as shown on published maps.
