Holiday Inn Resort 希尔顿头岛，海滨的点评
点评：Rooms were generic, reminding me of a Holiday Inn from the 70s or 80s. Bathroom was small, especially for 3 people (2 women) with only a single sink and virtually no counter space. Room keeping was great. Blackout blinds were worn, rusty, and had holes in them. Could have used more than the single metal chair in the room. The Porch restaurant was actually good. We didn’t have any bad food there. Service was great. We had Sam multiple times poolside and inside, and she was fantastic. Olivia, from Bolivia, one of the supervisors, was incredible. Poolside or in the restaurant, she seemed to be everywhere at once. An infectious smile, bright personality, and a genuine concern for the happiness of guests make her an invaluable face for the property. If I was still management for a Fortune 50 company, I’d do everything in my power to steal her. Kevin at the front desk was extremely helpful when we had issues. The pool needs scrubbed around the waterline much more frequently. I didn’t see it done the week we were there, and as a former head lifeguard, I was disgusted by the brown crud buildup. I’d of never let my pool, or the pool at my house, look like that. Poolside food and drink service ranged from poor to great depending on who your server was. Cabanas? Don’t waste your money. Approximately 1/3 of the top is open because of a slatted roof. They should be solid, like thatched, to block the sun. Many fans don't work, which makes them hotter than being under an umbrella. Same for televisions and refrigerators. If I’m paying $300-400 a day, I want shade and everything workings properly. The beach is crowded too due to public access right beside the hotel. It is the dirtiest beach I’ve ever been to, covered in cigarette butts, plastic, and garbage. I heard further north on the island is better. Except for walks, we avoided the sand and beach area in general.
