点评:This cafe sits alongside a railroad track and was made out of an older building; as with all such, it provides a sublime ambience. There is ample seating of all types, including at least three window box seats with cushions and pillows.
I was there on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t too busy considering it’s a ‘college town.’ They serve beer, should you be so inclined, and have a great selection of coffee beverages. I had two fantastic cold brews.
They have a limited menu, featuring three sandwiches. There were some issues with preparation as I waited over half an hour for my sandwich (apparently they were having problems with their new panini press); luckily I wasn’t in a hurry. One side of the sandwich was soggy, however the flavor was good.
They also have a nice selection of baked goods. I got a scone, which was very dry, even for a scone; again, the flavor was its saving grace with the orange glaze. My advice is to ask about the age of the pastries when ordering.
To sum up, it’s a great coffee shop that, just like the one in my town, is hit or miss when it attempts to have a menu. Definitely go visit this place, though. Sit in the window box and have a brew or a beer.
