点评：Visited to earn another stamp for our SC Parks Ultimate Outsiders program.
We did the paid tour of the mansion. The ranger that lead the tour was VERY knowledgeable and good at speaking, both a plus. We found it very interesting. Half of the tour was spent at the slave quarters and then the rest at the mansion. We were disappointed in that once you got in the mansion you only went in the main hall area. You could look into 4-5 rooms and that was it. We were hoping to see more of the mansion as well as learned a little about each room. That was not the case.
There was light right the day we were there so we did not do the trail.
Highly recommend calling to get your spot for the tour mainly to make sure they are doing them the day you want to go. Right now they do them Thursday - Monday. School tours can cancel the general public tours.
As said before, fabulous information was presented and available, what you see in the mansion is lacking.
