点评:This place was such a disappointment. I'm preparing for a night in Room 227 with NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! The AC worked fine initially but simply stopped this afternoon for no reason. When I called downstairs (using my cell phone since the phone in the room doesn't work), Mike came to the room and said he couldn't do anything about it - engineering was gone and he couldn't move us to another room. He suggested I open a window. When I asked about getting some sort of discount given the significant inconvenience, he said I'd have to discuss it with the manager Brandon in the morning - clearly he viewed it as my problem to resolve. When I asked for Brandon's card, he said I should go down to the lobby to get it - keep in mind that it's 10 pm and I'm in my pjs. He then started complaining about his back problems and made it clear that he didn't appreciate being asked to provide a card. He then returned, changed the thermostat batteries - which didn't restart the AC unfortunately.
When I asked how they handled emergencies, he said that they have engineers that stay until 5, 6, sometimes 7, but insisted "we're not the Marriott". This is where I agree with him completely - clearly, they don't even ATTEMPT to provide the service of a moderately priced hotel. My (prepaid) average nightly rate at this property was $330.65. I'm sorry, but at that rate I should expect basic, minimal customer service. The high temp today was mid 80s. My weather app shows a temp of 74 at 10 pm. Paying $330.65 for a night without AC is NOT acceptable - and the horrible attitude simply pours salt in the wound. Future guests, please be warned as Mike stated, "They're not the Marriott."
