Chili's Grill & Bar的点评
点评：We went because Chili's is advertising heavily on the TV for the 3 for me $10.99 deal for drinks, appetizer, and entree. There is a catch. There are only 3 entries available at the 10.99 price. Entrees like the classic Oldtimer with Cheese (basic cheese burger), 3-piece Chicken Crispers tenders, or a Secret Sauce Burger are the $10.99 choices. Want bacon with that burger, add $5.00? Upgrade to a sirloin steak the price increases to $17.99. Drinks included are fountain sodas, lemonaid, or ice tea. You can upgrade to a regular or frozen margarita for $3.49. I thought the margarita upgrade was worth it but I got brain freeze from the frozen margarita. We had a reward for free chips and salsa but must have gotten the bottom of the barrel of the chips - most were broken and crumbled. If I were paying $5.99 for them I would have sent them back. The restaurant has no concept of timing a meal and delivering the food at a reasonable pace. Everything came at the same time so there was no time to eat the appitizers, soup and salad unless you wanted your main entree to get cold.
The place needs some maintenance. The floor is so greasy it is like walking on a skateing rink. And when we sat down at the table the seats were wet and the table was wet and tacky. I had to find some paper towels to do my own cleaning before sitting down.
I do not think I will return to this Chili's.
After dinner we went for a walk thru the Pittsburgh Mills mall. Macy's is still there but a walk thru the mall is like visiting a ghost town. Very few stores are there and at 7pm the ones remaining were closed. I don't think it will be long before it ends up like Century 3 in the south hills.
