点评：Our son is attending university, and we visited Fairland on August 15th, staying for four nights without a single issue. However, we decided to go back again last weekend and our recent experience was nothing short of a nightmare. The room was filthy, with an unvacuumed carpet that seemed to have seen better days. Exhausted from our drive from Toronto, we just wanted a decent place to rest, but instead, we woke up to a toilet that wouldn't flush. As if that weren't enough, the bathtub was clogged while we tried to shower.
When I approached the front desk to express our concerns—since we were on a tight schedule to get ready—I was told to wait until 9 AM for maintenance to arrive. The maintenance staff showed up but spent over 30 minutes attempting to fix the plumbing issues without success, all while the room began to reek from their futile efforts. Frustrated, I requested a different room to get ready in, only to find that the exhaust fan in the new bathroom was also non-functional.
With check-out looming at noon, we ultimately decided to pack up and leave early because of the overwhelming frustration. Given the high price we paid for our stay, this level of service is utterly unacceptable. I expect compensation for this ordeal, and if that doesn't happen, it's safe to say we won't be returning.
