点评：After a day out at Peddlers Village my husband and I decided to have a much needed dinner at this lovely restaurant. The cocktails and bleu cheese salad were awesome. A special on the menu was Corned Brisket of Beef for St. Pats Day which would be celebrated the next day. We decided to have this special for dinner and it was a big disappointment. The brisket is traditionally served sliced, boiled cabbage and potatoes. This was served so not traditional. The brisket was cut into 2 inch stacked squares, totally dry and the cabbage was braised, tasteless and dry. The boiled brisket and cabbage always have moisture to them which adds in the taste and flavor, this dish had none of these qualities. Bottom line it was gross.Surprised to get fried slices of potatoes which actually were good but disappointing, as usually boiled potatoes are part of this dish.We were not the only people disapointed the table of 4 seated next to us seemed to be discussing the same issues and disappointments with their meal. I think it would have been wise to give some type of description below the menu item and not be surprised when served or keep it off the menu. Not an asset to the nice surroundings.Sorry I appear to be rather harsh but after being home sick for the last week and our first venture out and then getting an enjoyable meal is beyond being disappointed. Needless to say we wont be visiting this venue again, too many other good places to eat when we are out there.
