Springfield Grille的点评
点评：This was a very disappointing experience. I had dined at the Mercer locations several times but many years ago. I met a friend for dinner last night who was in town on business. Due to her hotel location, I recommended the Springfield Grille due to locality and a nice menu as well as the positive experiences I had at the Mercer, PA location.
The service was fine. But, the meals were astonishingly below average. I ordered the 8 ounce filet mignon and a baked potato with butter and sour cream. My guest ordered a 6 ounce filet and baked potato for the Firebird filet. Our potatoes tasted like they were the last two in some heating situation for 5 hours before being sent to our table! In fact, they tasted microwaved! The skin was tough and the potatoes were bone dry inside. I asked for butte & sour cream on mine, it only had sour cream...
My 8 ounce filet (medium) was on my guest's plate instead of mine i.e. I received a 6 ounce filet well-done despite ordering an 8 ounce filet medium and my guest received an 8 ounce filet medium despite ordering the 6 ounce well done! It was visibly noticeable but I did not want to say anything due to my guest. The potatoes were disgusting! They were hard and completely unappetizing! We spent $150 for our two entrees with tip! ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!
I have seen a significant yet very undesirable trend in the restaurant business to charge twice as much to be half as good...I understand food prices have increased ;however, if a restaurant can't even bake a potato properly, they should not serve it anymore...
