Sheltered Bay-Like Beach with Gentle Waves
The Haven的点评
点评：This is not the main beach in Terrigal. It’s a much smaller, bay-like beach with gentler waves and calmer water. It is a sheltered and very pretty little area where a number of boats are harboured and pelicans gather on the boat ramp.
A very family friendly area, there is a large open grassy area next to the beach with bench seats that look out at the sea and covered picnic tables. A stepped sandstone wall curves around the beach, separating the sand from the grassy area. This provides beachfront seating and it's where we brought our take-away fish and chips.
The newly opened boardwalk makes it very easy to walk between The Haven and the main beach. It’s only a short walk but it offers sweeping ocean view and I'd highly recommend it.
The other main feature here is The Skillion, the oddly shaped headland which is a local attraction. For a decent work out, follow the steep path leading to the top and you'll reach a panoramic lookout point.
