St James' Catholic Church的点评
点评：You can't miss this church if you are in town, it's very prominent and probably a stand out for the buildings in town... it's really attractive. There are a couple of stones that were laid to identify when this was built... The first one I noted was indicating that the stone was laid and blessed by Rev. T.M.Fox D.D. who was the Bishop of Wilcannia-Forbes on the 16th June 1935. ( He also laid the stone for St Aloysius Memorial Catholic Church in Forbes)
But the second stone says that it was solemnly consecrated on the 10th December in 1936 by the Most Rev. T.M.Fox D.D.
This church was built in the interwar years which I found interesting because I didn't think there was a lot of money around at that time, but clearly a lot of money was used to built such a beautiful church.
In the garden next to it is the St James Parish Cross commemorating the pastors and parishioners of St. James parish.
