点评:A quick decision when accidentally spotted while walking past, this was a joyous culinary surprise and treat. We read the chef’s many awards and achievements listed at the front of the menu and smiled, but our scepticism vanished instantly when the first mouthfuls shook our taste buds awake. Every entree piece, including even spring rolls and money bags, was clearly and artfully handmade, and the sauce superb. My main, a ‘prawn ginger oriental’ was cooked to perfection and we counted at least 10 different vegetables. The flavour was complex but subtle where you would expect it to be strong, and the hand of a very smart chef was evident. The straight tap water needed to be filtered, and we didn’t touch it, but the real coconut water with coconut flesh scoops was a refreshing contrast, and we walked out smiling broadly, as this was one of the best Thai meals we had had, including many in Thailand.
