点评：I have been eating at the Meadery for over 30 years and as a family we love eating there apart from tonight……. We arrived as a family of 5 including a 2 year old, we had our starter and after waiting for a long time we were told the chicken was delayed and would be at least another 20 minutes, eventually when the food did arrive the night was already ruined as our 2 year old had already lost his patience and we all wanted to go home, my chicken was not the usual crispy Meadery chicken, it was slimy and looked like they had forgotten to actually fry it, I ate very little and complained to one of the staff, she phoned the owner who explained our time to complain was when the staff asked if our food was ok, I explained they hadn’t asked and she said the staff had stated they had, it felt like reluctantly my one course was refunded, unapologetic staff , poor food and poor service means after 30 years of eating at the meadery this will be the last
