The Worst Room Ever! Don’t Go!

点评：The staff were lovely and very helpful , especially the young girls working behind the bar and Nettie the following morning. Also, our evening meal was very good.
Our room was not satisfactory at all. Firstly, there was a dead fly on the windowsill and the window was filthy. The bathroom was well past its sell by date and needs refurbishing. There were black bits all over the floor and the light over the sink did not work. The worst things however was, firstly, we were told that the heating would be coming on later (we arrived about 4.30) but it never did. It was off all evening and in the morning. It had turned very cold on Saturday and we had a most uncomfortable time whilst in the room. As well as this, during the night I was bothered with lots of tiny bites on both my ankles.
All these things wouldn’t have been quite so bad (although unacceptable) if we had paid a cheap price for the room but it was £115 for the night! We go away a lot and we have paid much less for rooms which were 100% better than this one. It is, in fact, the worst room we’ve ever stayed in.
Incidentally, as our food had been good on Saturday evening, we expected a good breakfast but the ingredients were not good, burnt bacon and a horrible, cheap sausage.
We would not consider staying here again even though we love Lerryn.
